What's wrong with this picture?

Still not sure? Need a closer look?

Okay, I'll just tell you -- what you're looking at is my own little Goldilocks "Someone is sleeping in my bed!" It's all fine and well to tell your kids to sleep in their own bed...until it's 3:00 in the morning and you just.want.to.go.back.to.sleep. Too bad she's a bed hog!

Because She's So Cool

If you haven't heard me say it before, let me tell you now - Morgan is the coolest kid ever born. She is ridiculously smart, so very funny, and the naughtiest toddler on the block. Not only that, She's got SO much to say (wonder where she gets that?) -- My little punkin is currently working it with the following:
  • Can count to 10 (11 if she's really ambitious)
  • Knows her colors (for a while everything was "Beuw" but we've got it figured out!
  • Knows her shapes, including hearts and stars -- she can even tell the difference between a pentagon and an octagon
  • Can dress herself. Granted, things are often backwards and inside out, but we're getting there!
  • Can eat with a fork and spoon and drinks out of a cup (with NO lid!!!)
  • Is learning how to do chores -- she helps unload the dishwasher, put clothes in the dryer and even put away her toys!
  • She talks. Not just a phrase here or there, or even those cute little sentences that only a mommy could understand; girlfriend could be working at a call center!
Here are a few examples:
  • Come here, Mommy. Stay a while.
  • No Sassy, Gamma had it first!
  • Where'd Daddy go? Oh, Daddy mowing da lawn.
  • Come on Mom, come with me.
  • I wanna go back to bed. (Oh yeah, she is CRANKY pants in the morning!)
  • Do you want a chocolate milk? (We've been playing A LOT of pretend)
  • Rub a back, Daddy. (part of her little bed time requests)
  • That's so cute!
  • Hey girls, check it out!
  • Look at me, I did it!
  • Morgan's helping Daddy.
  • My Mommy is my bestest friend ever! (My personal favorite!)

Just look at that resourcefulness! ;)
